  • Therapy For Black Girls connects Black women and girls with therapists and works to make mental health topics more relevant and accessible. 
  • Therapy For Black Men connects Black men to therapists and focuses on deconstructing the stigma surrounding mental health in Black communities.
  • National Queer and Trans Therapists of Color Network aims to increase access to healing justice resources for queer and trans people of color by providing access to therapy and mental health resources.
  • AYANA Therapy is an app that provides marginalized and intersectional communities with access to online and anonymous therapy by matching individuals to therapists who can address similar identities based on race, gender identity, sexuality, ethnicity, class, and ability.

  • The National Sexual Assault Telephone Hotline (800-656-4673) will connect victims of sexual assault to a trained staff member from a sexual assault service provider in your area. 
  • The Trevor Project (call 866-488-7386 or text START to 678678) provides resources for queer youth such as crisis intervention, queer advocacy, and homelessness relief. 
  • Trans Lifeline (877-565-8860 in the US and 877-330-6366 in Canada) is a peer support service run by trans individuals, for trans and questioning callers. 
  • The Asian American Arts Alliance supports Asian American artists during the COVID-19 crisis.

  • The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (888-333-2377) provides referrals to support groups, mental health professionals, resources on loss and suicide prevention information. 
  • The National Domestic Violence Hotline (800-799-7233) provides 24/7 crisis intervention, safety planning and information on domestic violence. 
  • The Suicide Prevention Lifeline (800-273-8255) connects callers to trained crisis counselors 24/7. They also provide a chat function on their website. 
  • Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) (240-485-1001) provides information on prevention, treatment and symptoms of anxiety, depression and related conditions.            
  • Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD) (800-233-4050) provides information and referrals on ADHD, including local support groups. 
  • Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) (800-826-3632) provides information on bipolar disorder and depression, offers in-person and online support groups and forums. 
  • DrugWatch is a free guide to mental illnesses that covers anxiety, depression, treatments, and more, featured in The New York Times and Healthline. 
  • International OCD Foundation (617-973-5801) provides information on OCD and treatment referrals. 
  • National Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders (NCEED) (800-931-2237) provides up-to-date, reliable and evidence-based information about eating disorders. 
  • Schizophrenia and Related Disorders Alliance of America (SARDAA) (240-423-9432) maintains the Schizophrenia Anonymous programs, which are self-help groups and are now available as toll free teleconferences. 
  • Sidran Institute (410-825-8888) helps people understand, manage and treat trauma and dissociation; maintains a helpline for information and referrals. 
  • Sunshine Behavioral Health provides resources for domestic violence and assault.
  • TARA (Treatment and Research Advancements for Borderline Personality Disorder) (888-482-7227) offers a referral center for information, support, education and treatment options for BPD.

  • The National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards recognizes writing and artwork from high school and middle school students at the international, national, and regional levels.
  • YoungArts recognizes writing and artwork of multiple mediums from individuals between 15 and 18 years old. It is also the only path to earning the accolade of U.S. Presidential Scholars in the Arts.
  • The Foyle Young Poets Award recognizes 100 young poets per year at the international level. Winners participate in a weeklong workshop on poetry. 
  • ​The Davidson Fellowship recognizes writers, musicians, or artists through scholarships of $50,000, $25,000, or $10,000. 
  • The Adroit Journal publishes exceptional pieces of art and writing that challenge conventional boundaries and genres. Opportunities for prestigious grants, awards, and mentorships are also available.

  • Coming Out Simulator (2014) is a resource for queer Asian teens coming out to their parents.
